Apple Orchard

We had a splendid day at the Afton Apple Orchard today with Tim and Jen and Addie Manthey!

Hailey got to pick her very first apple!! (even though she seems more interested in the bushels of not good apples all over the ground by us)

Oh no! Addie and Tim seemed to have gotten stuck in the tree!!

So we set Hailey down to see if she could head on over to lend them a hand...

Things didn't go quite as planned...

Oh Rats! Sorry guys! I went ring-a-round-the-rosie on myself!

After hours of prying, we finally got them out. While we were waiting for the next hay ride wagon, Hailey and Addie stopped to remind us all how cute they are.

After picking two bags of nice, delicious apples, it was off to the playground! Hailey shows off the correct way to ride Clifford the Big Red Dog!

Then the wrong way!

This looks scarier than it was... But the angle in which Clifford was attached seemed to cause Hailey to believe she was in a little recliner. Whatever it was, when she went into the upswing completely upside down!

Lastly, we had fun looking at the pumpkins. According to some other lady, all the pumpkins that were there were 'reject' pumpkins. Apparently, because nobody had bought them yet. Either way, Hailey really wanted to take this one home!
