Christmas 2012!!
This year has come and gone too fast! We celebrated Christmas at home and had Grandma and Grandpa with the Pony!
We were playing a little Chicken Cha-Cha while we were waiting for dinner to be done. The game is a memory game and you chase each others chicken around the circle and if you pass the other, you take their tail feather and that person is then out of the game. Hailey was the first to acquire a tail feather. It just so happened to be mine!!! Then the game went on and eventually Grandpa snuck up behind Hailey and PLUCK! Took her feathers! Hailey cried. Grandpa Cried. Then we called off the game because the dinner was done! I guess we'll have to work on learning to handle losing a little bit in the new year! :)
Christmas morning arrived and Hailey was wearing her new bathrobe and checking out her new magnet that was in her science bag! Can't wait to start using it!!
The family gift this year was hidden behind the tree. It took an hour or almost two before Bo said, "Hey, there's another present back there!!" So we opened it up and we now have a nice electric keyboard! I think everyone in the house is ready to become the next Beethoven. Or Chopin... Or Dvorak! Whichever we choose, we now have the sweet sound of piano floating around the place!
